Implemented by AVER with support from the Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for Human Rights Defenders and Fondation de France, this project focuses on civic education and human rights advocacy through the arts.
Project Details:
- Timeline: September 2022 - July 2023.
- Locations: Hassi Medenine (Southern Medenine) and Worjijen School (Beni Khedache).
- Beneficiaries: Children aged 6 to 12, local young talents, and educators in rural schools.
- Main Activities: Capacity building for teachers and youth, and the creation of five artistic and cultural clubs per school. These safe spaces allow children to learn and defend their rights through creative expression.
