- Gathering evidence for mitigation work
- Using evidence to change local/national/international policy
- Devising/testing new monitoring methodology
Funding Criteria:
- Focus on one or more endangered species or their habitat
- Priority: IUCN Endangered, Critically Endangered, Extinct in the Wild (Vulnerable/Near Threatened also considered)
- Countries classified by World Bank as low and middle-income only
- Preference for applicants working in their own country
- Up to two years duration
- Clear end point required
- Funds transferred to organisational bank accounts only
